About Ladan

J. Ladan Nabet, Licensed Acupuncturist Baltimore Timonium chronic pain

I came to this work in my own process of healing chronic pain. This process led me to explore many therapeutic approaches and inspired me to study and share them with you today.

I am drawn to efficient tools and techniques that nurture the body's inherent resiliency and capacity to heal. I work with the body from a framework that recognizes the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, energetic, environmental and ancestral factors that comprise our wholeness. I value an integrative approach, utilizing the best of modern and traditional healing systems, as well as a team-based approach to care.

My greatest love is for movement and the dynamic stillness inherent within it. It is my hope that sessions bring you into alignment and connection with your body's inherent wisdom, fluidity, and stability.

My Approach

The support I provide is an integration of centuries old, time-tested techniques with modern, leading-edge tools:

  • Awareness-based, interactive bodywork for nervous system regulation and re-patterning
  • Trauma informed treatment approaches
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Varied Acupuncture Techniques including: Sports Medicine Acupuncture (includes trigger point release/dry needling and motor point activation) and Kiiko Matsumoto Style (gentler techniques)
  • Tui Na and Advanced Bodywork
  • Postural Assessment and Manual Muscle Testing

To maximize the benefits of these tools and techniques, I work with one client at a time and do not double book or alternate your session time with other clients. This allows me to give your needs the full attention and focus they deserve and increase the potency of our time together.
