Chronic Pain, Stress & Health Issues

Living with chronic pain and health issues is hard, especially when it's holding you back from doing what you love and being with those you love.
Pain is tiring and the work of managing your appointments can even feel draining. Sometimes overstimulating office spaces add to your overwhelm, too.
Maybe you're taking medications, going to physical therapy and massage, but still find yourself pushing through pain. Perhaps you've tried other approaches like craniosacral therapy and supplements but aren't sure how it all fits together.
You might even wonder, "Is this as good as it gets?"
All you've tried is essential and brings important relief, but sometimes a more holistic approach is needed. And when you've been struggling for a while, you need practitioners that can help you see the bigger picture.
A holistic perspective understands how your body systems are interconnected. It bridges what brings you in with your overall health.
My Approach
My approach creates a space to deeply listen to your concerns, get to the root of your pain symptoms and build a new foundation for health. It helps you understand your body better, too.
Here's how it works:
- Get to the Root
Assess the complex interconnection of your body systems through an East meets West approach that integrates Traditional East Asian Medicine, your fascial system, nervous system, and sports medicine to help your body heal. - Work Holistically
Address both your symptoms and ways to strengthen your underlying health so that changes stick. - 1:1 Individualized Care
Focus fully on your concerns and tailor recommendations for you. This means I don't rotate between multiple treatment rooms or offer basic protocols. And it enables me to offer a trauma informed approach and fine tune each session.
My Areas of Focus:
- Chronic Pain & Improving Movement
Back, Shoulder, Neck, Hip, Foot Pain
Sports Injuries, Fibromyalgia & more - Chronic Stress & Illness
Muscle tension, headaches, bloating, constipation, digestive issues
What Makes My Practice Different
The magic of my practice comes from a multi-faceted approach to pain relief and in taking the time to help you better understand and connect to what you're experiencing in your body. When it's no longer overwhelming to slow down and tune in, your nervous system can shift long held patterns and re-establish a good foundation.
I also love to collaborate with other medical and mental health providers.

The Process
My commitment in our work together is to address your symptoms and nourish the roots of your health so you can thrive, not just get by.
The process generally follows these phases:
- Reduce Pain and Symptoms
- Stabilize the Changes & Replenish Underlying Health
- Make Appropriate Referrals for Targeted Next Steps when needed
- Stay Well (Proactive Seasonal Tune-Ups)
A comprehensive approach takes time and goes deeper so that change can take hold.
At your initial assessment we'll discuss how we can best work together and co-create a plan for treatments.
Generally speaking, if you have a chronic issue, I recommend initially working together for a few months. New issues can often resolve more quickly.
Typically we begin by meeting once or twice a week for a few weeks to help reduce your symptoms. As your symptoms improve, sessions are scheduled further and further apart.
When acupuncture and bodywork are helpful for your health concerns, you'll usually notice positive changes within 1-3 sessions and often even after the 1st session.
Once your symptoms have improved and you've met your goals, acupuncture is a great way to maintain your health! I recommend monthly or seasonal appointments to proactively cultivate well being and optimize your health.
It's always easiest to catch the small, nagging issues before they become big ones.
