  • Improving movement & preventing further injury
  • Stress Management & easing symptoms that flare with chronic stress
(muscle tension, headaches, bloating, constipation, etc.)
  • Navigating complex illness
  • Optimizing the nervous system's role in digestive health

My Approach

My approach integrates time-tested traditional techniques along with leading-edge science. Sessions are intended to help you feel better, move with more ease, cultivate the energy you need to meet the challenges you face, and better understand your own body. I see my practice as being a part of your healthcare team, offering you tools and information so you can make choices that are right for you.

There are many tools we can explore together to support your wellbeing:

  • Acupuncture, including Traditional Acupuncture, Trigger Point/Dry Needling & Motor Point Orthopedic Acupuncture
  • Postural Assessment & Muscle Testing to identify structural and muscle imbalances
  • Tui Na Soft Tissue & Visceral Manual Therapy
  • Gua Sha & Cupping
  • Qigong Corrective Exercises
  • Mindfulness-based, trauma informed perspective

Working Together

To maximize the benefits of these tools and techniques, I work with one client at a time and do not alternate your session time with other clients. This allows us to give your needs the full attention and focus they deserve and increase the potency of sessions.

A unique feature of my practice is integrating gentle and subtle bodywork into acupuncture sessions while you rest with the needles.

Other Offerings

I also offer non-medical services focused on learning how to work with strong sensations and under-responsive areas of the body, as well as cultivating embodied resilience. These sessions are opportunities to gently explore your somatic landscape and support you in understanding the unique ways your body holds chronic personal and cultural stress, trauma, and inherited family conditioning.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please give 48 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees, with the exception of medical and family emergencies, illness and dangerous weather. Forgotten appointments (no shows) and those cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are responsible for the full out-of-pocket rate for the scheduled service. Sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
